About

Hi, I’m Jenna!

I have a love for logistics and a passion for creativity. I believe the best weddings aren't the ones that look like everyone else's, they're the ones that couldn't belong to anyone else. I love working with couples who inspire me to think creatively and design celebrations that feel completely reflective of who they are.

When you hire me, you're getting more than a planner. You're getting someone who's genuinely invested in your experience — your biggest cheerleader, calm problem-solver, and someone who's thinking ten steps ahead so you don't have to.

A Few Fun Facts

I’m A Pisces - I’m a hopeless romantic, fueled by being creative, and a big softie - you’ll definitely catch me tearing up during your vows.

I’m A Type A Girl - Color-coded spreadsheets, timelines, and checklists are my love language.

I’m A Dog Mom - I’m a dog mom to our angel furbaby, Charlie. And Bailey, my sweet 12-year-old black pit mix (and honorary executive assistant).

Want to know what makes me, well…me?

I was raised in a small, tight-knit town in Georgia where family, community, and Southern hospitality were a way of life. Sundays meant church followed by lunch with the family, afternoons spent fishing at my great-grandma's pond, and holiday celebrations where the whole town came together. That upbringing shaped who I am today and taught me the importance of making people feel welcomed, cared for, and like family.

My first introduction to the wedding world came from my grandmother, a talented seamstress who spent her days altering bridesmaid dresses and creating wedding gowns. She even made me a tiny wedding dress for my dress-up collection. Watching her pour so much love and care into every stitch taught me the beauty of detail and the joy of helping others feel special.

Life eventually brought me to Dallas. My husband and I moved here in 2020 after having to postpone our wedding. We ended up having an intimate elopement while we waited to have a big celebration in 2021 after the chaos of 2020 had passed. Planning my own wedding through a pandemic, long distance, and unexpected family health challenges showed me just how emotional, unpredictable, & overwhelming wedding planning can be. My own planner showed up and proved how invaluable it is to have someone calm & supportive in your corner. My personal planning experience shaped how I show up for my couples.

I’ve always had one foot in the creative world. Whether it was at dance competitions or summer art camps as a kid, but over time, I also discovered a love for logistics. Wedding planning allows me to blend both sides of myself!

At my core, I’m someone who values connection and community. I believe in building relationships, having meaningful conversations, and making people feel like they belong. My goal is to take the overwhelming parts of planning off your plate so you can focus on what truly matters: celebrating your love story with the people who mean the most to you. With a little Southern warmth, a lot of heart, and a touch of creative flair, I’m here to make your wedding day everything you’ve ever dreamed of—and more.

The Experience Behind JME

With over a decade of experience in hospitality and events, my career has taken me on quite the adventure. Before weddings, I had the opportunity to...

  • Lead and develop teams of 200+ employees, where I learned the importance of communication, organization, and keeping calm when things don't go according to plan.

  • Help launch a brand-new waterpark, building systems, hiring processes, and a workplace culture that people genuinely wanted to be part of.

  • Plan everything from festivals and community events to Breakfast with Santa, Easter egg hunts, and even a town Christmas parade, where I fell in love with creating memorable experiences from the ground up.

In 2020, I stepped into the wedding industry as a Venue Manager, where I managed more than 150 weddings each year. I worked with incredible vendors — caterers, florists, DJs, and photographers — and handled everything from contracts to budgeting for all-inclusive packaging and everything in between. This role gave me a behind-the-scenes perspective on what truly makes a wedding successful and what it takes to keep every moving piece running seamlessly.

All of those experiences ultimately led me here—to Jenna Marie Events—where I get to combine thoughtful organization, creative design, genuine relationships, and a whole lot of heart into a career I absolutely love.
